Review

X-ray fluorescence spectrometry and X-ray diffraction analysis were nondestructive analytical methods used for research of composition and crystalline structure of inorganic materials. Pigments (seven samples of titanium white, two samples of ferric pigments and one sample of zinc white) and fillers (talc and talc with additives) were analysed by X-ray fluorescence and X-ray powder diffraction. X-ray fluorescence spectrometry determined the contents of specific elements and X-ray diffraction determined structure of crystalline matter.
