Review
The coatings based on water glass and metakaolin designed to high temperatures were investigated. The properties were examined on metal and glass substrate. Anticorrosion efficiency was checked in salt and condensation chamber. Physical properties were examined by cross-cutting test, hardness test and by adhesion test. Heat resistance was checked in the temperature range 200–800 °C. Characterisation of pigments and fillers was performed by x-ray fluorescence spectroscopy and x-ray diffraction.
