Project Description:

The objective of the project is construction and verification of the functioning conditions of the chemical reactor and heat exchanger with contactless microwave heating in the technological process of lowtemperature chemical regeneration of waste pickling liquors and rinse waters from the surface treatment processes of steel and other metals. The topic is the treatment of solutions/suspensions of strong inorganic acids (HNO3, HCl, HF) and their metal salts and material research to the details of apparatuses and pipes for the technological unit of low-temperature regeneration. The output will consist in recommended construction materials, resistant at chemical and thermal treatment of waste pickling solutions and construction of the pilot plant, where technological conditions and layout of the low-temperature regeneration unit will be studied, on the base of previous results obtained through experimental work on the development of chemical reactor and heat exchanger, and by material research.
