Properties of thermal resistance coatings

The coatings based on silicone, epoxide and ceramics designed to high temperatures were investigated. The properties were examined on metal and glass substrate. Anticorrosion efficiency was checked in salt and condensation chamber. Physical properties were examined by bend test, cupping test and by falling-weight test. Chemical resistance of the coatings was investigated in the solutions of acids, basis, salts and aromatic solvents. Heat resistence was checked in the temperature range 200 – 800°C. Characterisation was performed by x-ray fluorescence spectrosccopy and x-ray diffraction.
