Projekt Nové analytické metody se specializoval na uplatnění moderních analytických metod a jejich aplikaci v petrochemickém a rafinérském průmyslu. Využívanými metodami byly zejména infračervená spektrometrie v blízké oblasti (NIR spektrometrie) a Ramanova spektrometrie. Jednalo se o stanovení cetanového indexu (využity byly obě metody) a kvantitativní hodnocení stabilizátorových směsí, jež se přidávají do polyolefinů (NIR spektrometrie).

The New Analytical Methods project has specialized in the application of modern analytical methods and their use in the petrochemical and refining industries. The used methods were in particular near infrared spectrometry (NIR spectrometry) and Raman spectrometry. It was the determination of the cetane index (both methods were used) and the quantitative evaluation of stabilizer mixtures added to polyolefins (NIR spectrometry).
